This specimen exhibits an apple shaped head, prominent forehead, near 90-degree stop (transition from forehead to muzzle), short muzzle, round full eyes, erect ears, compact legs and body. Most Chihuahuas are born with a “molera,” an incompletely fused cranium (called a fontanelle in humans), which presents no health problems.
